Anumation
Living tissue is replaced with anum, a metal that does not simply hide beneath the skin — it is worn. Status is visible: thin metal seams at the temple, the neck, the joints. Proof the price has already been paid.

The dampening field
Anum does not block the Pulse like a wall. It slows how fast it can change, until resonance has nothing left to catch on. The land itself, seeded with anum ore, runs flat before any implant is installed.
