Behind the story
I didn’t plan this story. It started with a character who refused to do what she was told.
At some point, it stopped being about a plot and became about control - who has it, who loses it, and what it costs to take it back.
Miovs grew around that.
And the more I wrote, the less I was sure anyone in this story was really in control.
